The Infusion Nurses Society Infusion Therapy Standards of Practice have provided evidence-based guidance to promote optimal patient outcomes for decades.Continuing the commitment to revising the Infusion Therapy Standards of Practice every 3 years, INS is proud to introduce this 9th edition. Adherence to the Infusion Therapy Standards of Practice promotes consistency in patient care, guides clinical decision-making, and enhances competency.
Join Jennifer Card for this webinar where we will be sharing the latest information on building a high-quality vascular program in your building. Jennifer will not only highlight the importance of the program, but also provide guidance on implementing the program through the creation of policies, standard operating procedures and education that aligns with the most up to date national standards.

  1. List the foundational elements of a high-quality vascular program.
  2. Discuss how to educate staff on policy and procedures.
  3. Identify the most recent changes in the INS standards of practice.

At the conclusion of the session, participants will be able to identify the foundational elements of a high-quality vascular program, the importance of each and how to implement them.
